This year’s edition saw a different showdown as the graduate students were placed on their own grounds without going out. Normally the annual socialisation events of the association is organized by the graduate students embarking on trips around some historical and attractive sites of tourism in the country, but this year’s event was different.
Starting with fun games like; basketball, soccer among other sporting activities on Friday Nov, 10th with the climax of the main event at the premises of the graduate students hostel of the University on Saturday the 11th.
Though the event started late, but it was the best organized socialisation event in the history of the association since its existence looking at the turnout and arrangements.
With a wonderful emceeing from Amansan Krakye (Drive time host with GBC -Radio Central),The event started with an open address from Prof Ernest Okorley (Dean of Graduate Studies) followed by musical chairs, pick and acts, dancing competition, and many others for both Men and Women.
The graduate students also took opportunity to exchange connections with each other as well building good relationships with themselves.
Speaking with Safo George (Pilato) one of the members of the association last Saturday, he acknowledged the work of the council for planning this year’s event perfectly and urged other members of the association not to stay away from events organized by the association which helps them relax.
The graduate students had the best of time having a lot to eat, drink and dancing out their individual stress.
